Bamboo Rocks Davao Concert with Special Guest Morisette Amon

Yay! I got my ticket to the event! I was really expecting the date was August 13, 2015, Thursday at 8PM hahaha but I was wrong, we are wrong! After purchasing the ticket later did my friend realized the date was actually September 13, 2015, Sunday at SMX Convention Center, SM Lanang Premier, Davao City! Prior to purchasing the tickets, I was really wondering why the event is going to be held on a Thursday night hehe. So we purchased two Silver tickets each costing 1250Php, ouch! It a little bit expensive I know but Bamboo plus Morisette? You know what I mean? It would be a blast!! I am really an avid fan of The Voice where Bamboo is one of the Judge plus Morisette is a favorite singer of mine. I play her songs all day and super love her music! They will be choosing 20 lucky ticket holders on concert day to meet and greet Bamboo and Morissette Amon and hopefully I’ll be one of the lucky ticket holders! Okay so for your 411 the poster below shows some details of the “Bamboo Rocks Davao” event.

Villa Amparo Garden Beach Resort is My Next Destination Before the Month Ends

I just wanna be in “Villa Amparo Garden Beach Resort”, located in Samal Island. I’ve been planning since I saw photos from my Facebook friends but haven’t really had the chance to go here. I did a lot of research about the resort and was really fascinated by the sceneries and amenities. It’s a little bit expensive, but it’s worth the price. I will blog more about this resort soon!

30th Kadayawan Sa Dabaw Schedule of Activities

Since birth, I really have no personal experience with Kadayawan sa Dabaw though I live just an hour away from the city. I haven’t seen the Hudyakan sa Kadayawan in person, none of the activities during the festival I ever attended. This year will be the first time that I am going to the event.
I watch the parade and other activities only on television, all I know was it’s colorful and fun. I was not allowed to go due to security issues, but Davao has proven for years that there’s nothing to worry about. Thus, I am coming! I married young so and was always left with the kids, but now that they are old enough, I am now free to ramp and enjoy the festivities. Plus the fact that my job as a general virtual assistant gave me the luxury to choose the time I want to do my job.
Since I am so excited, I want to share with you the schedule for the 30th Kadayawan Sa Dabaw. Below is the photo I got from the official Facebook page of Davao City Tourism. Enjoy and hope to see you there!

Another Trip to Isla Reta Beach Resort in Samal Island

So this is my second time in Isla Reta Beach Resort (read my previous post here) located in one of the islands of Samal Island a year and four months after my very first visit. The resort is still the same, beautiful white sand beach, very clean, I can’t see any major additional improvements aside from the canteen and shower areas. They have built a shower area outside the comfort room both for male and female. This trip was really unexpected as it was decided just that day. Our original plan was Maxima Aqua fun though I’ve been there once already. The 9 am boat to Isla Reta just departed when we came so we have to take the 12:30 pm boat. Thinking it would be a waste of time we decided to take the other way going to the resort. We went to Sasa wharf and rode the barge (10pesos fare), from there a motorcycle (habal2x cost 100 pesos) took us to Kaputian and a small banca (I think fare was 20 Pesos) was waiting for us to get us to the Island. The fare roughly cost 260pesos round trip. The last trip going back to Kaputian is 5 PM so we didn’t waste time.

We had an awesome day as the sun cooperated much with us, we took a lot of selfies, groufies, and lots of swimming and laughing. It was truly memorable since it was the last bonding we’ll be having with our friend Hannah who’s going to Manila a week after. Isla Reta Beach Resort is really worth going, surely you will not regret your stay there!
